Politicians are doing what they are famous for - Politics on everything. The recent developments in Jammu and Kashmir are being used by parties to attack each other.
Bahujan Samaj Party chief and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati Devi said that BJP and Narendra Modi is using the India-Pakistan Border issue to lure voters by playing with their sentiments.
Mayawati tweeted on the issue: “The people are concerned over the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir as well as continuing tension on India-Pakistan border, the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are busy using the event to hide the failure and incompetence of his government and this is not hidden from the public”
The BSP chief accused that BJP has a past of using the public’s sentiments to get things on their side. She accused that doing politics on Pulwama attack is petty.
According to a report by news agency PTI, Mayawati said, “The worried 130 crore people have seen as to how the BJP could not desist from indulging in petty politics even at such a time and they have now realised that country’s honour and security is not in strong and safe hands”
Mayawati arranged a meeting with many senior party leaders and office bearers to make strategies for upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Lucknow. The meeting was done on Sunday, attended by foremost party leaders.
The Bahujan Samaj Party has decided to go in alliance with Samajwadi Party in upcoming general elections. The two chief leaders of Party - Mayawati Devi and Akhilesh Yadav- have announced their coalition just a few months ago.
BSP chief also claimed that their coalition is the only chance to take the Saffron Party down in Uttar Pradesh, hence hinted that they have no plans to give seats to Indian National Congress.
