A chef par excellence- Anthony Bourdain is no more

The TV celebrity, gifted chef and the host of CNN’s ‘Parts Unknown’ who had believed in bringing everyone together by exchanging culture, Anthony Bourdain left us all in shock when he was found dead. He was working on his current series on culinary tradition around the world in France when he was found dead in his hotel room.

Bourdain was found unresponsive on Friday morning by Eric Ripert near the French city of Strasbourg. As confirmed by CNN it was a suicide which came as a real shocker to all.

Ripert took it to twitter calling Anthony as his best friend. For him, he was an exceptional human being and was very inspiring & generous for everyone around. According to him, he was one of the greatest storytellers of times who connected instantly with so many. Everybody prayed for him to rest in peace from the bottom of their hearts. Everyone sent love and prayers for his family, friends and loved ones.

Bourdain had created a connection with his viewers with his charming smile, fearless self and his magical way of using words. All his life he tried to unite people around the globe with different cultures by exchanging their unique food habit. He proved making food and eating food to be a great medium for connecting with people around the world as that is the only thing common.

According to CNN's international correspondent, Christiane Amanpour, Bourdain was a talent which knew no introduction and was par excellence. She too felt heartbroken for Anthony Bourdain, and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.

According to former us president Obama, Bourdain will be remembered for Low plastic stool, cheap but delicious noodles and cold Hanoi beer. According to him, he not only taught everybody about food but more importantly, about its ability to bring everyone together. He will surely be missed by one and all. This is what former President of United States Barak Obama had to say about Bourdain’s death as he posted a happy picture of both eating and sipping beer, on Twitter.

Twitter is flooded with tweets of not only celebrities who knew Bourdain personally but also his loving fans with whom he had created a very strong bond.  Bourdain's girlfriend, actress Asia Argento was beyond devastated. According to her, Anthony gave all of himself in everything that he did. He was brilliant in whatever he did, his fearless spirit touched and inspired so many that everybody got inspired, and his generosity in every way knew no bounds. According to her he was love of her life and her protector. She was beyond devastated to know about his death. All his family, friends and fans are in complete shock.

The American culinary specialist, creator and TV character was born in New York City and was brought up in Leonia, New Jersey. He has cited that his affection for sustenance started when he was very young and was on a family excursion in France when he ate his first shellfish.

 Bourdain dropped out of Vassar College following two years. He worked in many eateries and that passion drove him to the Culinary Institute of America, from where he graduated in 1978 and started working in kitchens of New York City. He finally became official gourmet specialist at Brassiere Les Halles in 1998. Anthony Bourdain was twice divorced and had a daughter from his second marriage. There has been no clue on why did he kill himself.
