Just Yesterday, Rahul Gandhi posted a number of Tweets attacking BJP and Manohar Parrikar on Rafale Deal. And today he dropped in Minister’s office in Goa. The purpose behind the meeting has not been disclosed yet.
Gandhi raised the ‘leaked tape on Rafale’ again on Twitter. He wrote, “Thirty days since the Goa audio tapes on Rafale were released. No FIR or enquiry ordered. No action against (Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane) either.”
Even before releasing the tape, Gandhi was alleging that the Goa CM had details on Rafale and hence he is blackmailing PM over it. Parrikar was defence minister when Rafale deal was made between India and French company Dassault.
30 days since the Goa Audio Tapes on RAFALE were released. No FIR or enquiry ordered. No action against the Minister either!
It's obvious that the tapes are authentic & that Goa CM, Parrikar, is in possession of explosive RAFALE secrets, that give him power over the PM. https://t.co/sKwwfIj0bM
Rahul Gandhi is on his vacations in Goa, along with his mother and former President of Congress, Sonia Gandhi.
The tape leaked by Congress is between Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and some anonymous person. Rane is saying in the tape that Parrikar held a cabinet meeting and said something ‘interesting’.
Rane is heard saying that Parrikar said he can’t be sacked from his position. Prrikar said, “I have all the information about Rafale in my bedroom. it’s in my bedroom... here only in the flat,” according to Rane.
Bhartiya Janta Party leaders are denying any truth in the leaked tape. They said that tape is doctored and is a "desperate attempt to fabricate facts".
Congress tweeted the tape on its official Twitter account. Have a listen:
