Aadhaar Challenge – Telecom regulator’s details leaked, people posted out his personal details after being challenged by him

On Saturday, RS Sharma, TRAI chairman disclosed his Aadhaar details on the giant social media platform that made people erupt out of their wits and making remarks of him. Giving no heeds to the public, he put up an Aadhaar challenge for everyone to harm him by using his personal Aadhaar card details. This results in a number of tweets to pour in triggering an uproar and leaking off his all the personal details including his mobile number. 

Sharma’s challenge has evoked a lot of Responses from the Twitter users and that claim to have all his details such as pictures, mobile number, date of birth, residential address and chat threads. Other even warn him not to put such private information on such platform that can put him in trouble and on top of them making it a dare out of such a serious topic. 

However, there were many people that can get their hands on his personal information, there was no updated from the TRAI Telecom Regulatory Authority of India officials that they are correct or not. But people did come forward claiming that the information is indeed correct. 

Sharma made no official statement nor declined anything yet, he simply states, ‘Let the challenge run for some time’. 

He gave out his complete Aadhaar unique number, the tweet from the TRAI chairman stated, "Now I give this challenge to you: Show me one concrete example where you can do any harm to me!" 

This made his get instant responses from all over the twitter by people that were engaging in a verbal duel with Mr Sharma. He stated that all the information that is leaked is already the public information that people already know about. It contains nothing specific that can put him in danger or harm him in any way claiming the theory of ‘Aadhaar compromises the privacy of the person.’ 

Mr Sharma said, "...Yeh details koi state secret Nahin chain (These details are no state secret)...," 
"People managed to get your personal address, dob (date of birth) and your alternate phone number. I stop here, I hope you will understand why to make your #Aadhaar number public is not a good idea." Stated by a French security expert with the handle name Elliot Alderson. 

Mr Sharma wrote, "No I did not challenge them for a phone number and other info. I challenged them for causing me harm! So far no success. Wish them luck,"
