AAP on boycott after Congress ignored one condition for Rajya Sabha Vote

Thursday’s Rajya Sabha deputy chairman election to be boycotted by Aam Aadmi Party because they are upset with Congress. Rahul Gandhi’s Congress was able to meet the condition of AAP that was to get a support of the three land makers. The condition was simply, a phone call from Rahul Gandhi.

However, Janta Dal United chief and Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar as he picked up the phone and seek the help from Arvind Kejriwal to support the JDU Harivansh Narayan Singh. As per the reports, the offer is turned down by Kejriwal because JDU first-time lawmaker is an official candidate of the NDA that is a BJP-led national coalition.

Sanjay Singh said about all the predicament of the party, "It is not possible to support the JDU's candidate which is in alliance with the BJP at the centre,"

Just because Congress doesn’t need their help for the support in the election, he said on Twitter, "the party didn't have an option but to boycott the election," Even the Chief Minister of Delhi retweeted him.

This announcement was made by AAP after the condition was made in the support of the Rajya Sabha election on the personal request of Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.

The AAP three-time member team who is in the Rajya Sabha, Singh said, "If Rahul Gandhi can hug Narendra Modi, why cannot he ask Arvind Kejriwal for support to his party's candidate,"

BK Hariprasad Congress, after the Biju Janta Dal and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, announced that they will be supporting JDU lawmaker.

Patnaik has announced, "Our party will support the JDU candidate in the Rajya Sabha's deputy chairman election," as he acknowledged the call he received from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar and BJP Chief Amit Shah to seek the support to the party.

On Thursday, no one can predict what the deputy chairman election will show, the AAP party is actually done with Congress that always take the support for granted. AAP has always gone along with Congress as per Singh, even in last year’s presidential and vice presidential elections.

The founder member of AAP, Singh said, "But they did not even have the courtesy to say thank you,"

Rahul Gandhi has already said that the working with AAP in Delhi and beyond is always open to them. The debate is still going on this and have to wait for the results.
