At the award function, Khiladi of the Bollywood revealed that he was offered the role of Milkha Singh in “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” which he turned down. The actor talked about this with his recent chit chat with emerging actor Vicky Kaushal at the awards night.
At the star night Akshay said, ”Actually, I regret not doing that film. It was Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. I was offered that film but I opted for Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobara.” “That’s the film I am very guilty of not doing it and not watching also,” he added.
Later the film was offered to Farhan Akhtar, and rest is history. Farhan played the role of Milkha Singh also known as Flying Sikh and was applauded across the theatres. On the work front, Akshay Kumar’s recently released Kesari is very well performing at the box office. The film is based on bravest battle ever fought in India – Battle Of Saragarhi. The battle was fought in the year 1897 when the British Empire conquered the whole of India. If we talk about Akshay then this actor has never disappointed in his films whether it is “Airlift”, “Rustom” or any other. He is busy with his latest films that are soon going to book the screens and we expect the same from the other films too as for Kesari.
