Remember the recent incident where a guy was killed (possibly) by tribesmen in Andaman. The guy, John Allen Chau, was killed by natives of the island as he entered in the island and tried to convert the local people into Christianism.
Now, after days of his killing, the police is trying to retrieve his body. The Police has tried two times but in vain.
The Andaman and Nicobar Islands police have released a press note stating that they are trying to move further to look out for the body.
The press release of The Andaman and Nicobar Islands states, “Moving further into the investigation of the killing of John Allen Chau, 27 years, an American citizen, a joint team consisting of officials from the police department, forest department, tribal welfare department and the Coast Guard conducted a second round of expedition to the North Sentinel Island. The team also took two alleged accused who are on police custody. Elaborate discussions on the possible circumstances that could have led to the killing of Chau were also held by the team. The arrested accused who accompanied the team had reportedly ferried Chau in their vessel to the North Sentinel Island for his fateful journey.”
The police team started their search in the morning and returned to the shores by night, trying to guess the possible and fatal route taken by John.
The local Tribe of the island, where John is probably killed, has made it clear to the outsiders that they do not want any contact with them.
According to the police, they have arrested seven people till now for helping John in reaching near to the island.
As per the accounts of John’s diary, he wanted to show “Jesus” to the local tribes who were unaware of the presence of Jesus.
American News House The Washington Post has reported that in his diary, John wrote, “Lord, is this island Satan’s last stronghold where none have heard or even had the chance to hear your name?”
