Another masterstroke by Naidu, adds DMK in “Grand Alliance”

The “Grand Alliance” is going to be really “Grand” as big political parties of high influence are merging themselves into the alliance.

 

DMK (Dravida Munnetra Kazgaham) supremo Mr MK Stalin met with Telugu Desam Party President N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday. After the meeting, he confirmed to news reporters that He is going to support Naidu in building a “Great Alliance”.

 

N Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, met Stalin in Chennai in order to get him on his side. Just a day before, he met with HD Deve Gowda and Karnataka's CM Kumaraswamy in Bengaluru. Chandrababu has added Congress, Janta Dal United, Janta Dal-Secular and DMK in United Alliance till now.

 

After he confirmed to the media about his stand-in election, he tweeted: “ I extend my full support to a grand alliance of secular forces with the single goal of overthrowing a fascist BJP that has completely destroyed the inclusive nature of our democracy.”

 

 

Hindustan Timers reported about their meeting as, “Naidu was spotted saying to the media that under the regime of BJP, states are losing their rights to control.” “The federal structure and democracy of India are under a serious threat. I have been in very vocal in past on requesting all the local and federal parties to join together to replace Fascist Bhartiya Janta Party.”

 

Stalin said that all secular forces should join their hands in oppose of BJP, as the secular forces are the only ray of hope amid the communal crisis. He said that BJP is trying to divide the country in the name of religion.
