Yogi Adityanath took the position of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in 2017 and he has managed to become one of the most controversial politicians ever. He has not only opened a new wave of saffron embrace or pro-Hindutva agenda but also has faced critic on each and every step he took for the law and order of UP.
He was shown as the face of the party in the northern region. This time he was given the responsibility to head the campaign for Assembly elections in Meghalaya, Tripura, Karnataka, Tripura, and Palghar bypolls. He was a target by opposition parties by the name of ‘RSS pracharak’ and ‘bhagwa rajneeti’. Still, he continues to work on his main agenda and see the work of strategies. He even managed to keep things under control with the natural calamities and mishaps in UP.
No matter how much joint tension is blamed for the disruptive politics but the blame of the losses in the election has come down on the shoulder of CM Yogi Adityanath. After the loss in the Noorpur and Kairana, BJP MLA Shyam Prakash criticised Yogi Leadership for the loss. In a poem posted on his wall, he has put all the blame for corruption and accused them of winning just because of the name of PM Modi.
However, this might not be the first time that Yogi has to face something like this. He has been on the radar since he took his post as a CM and has still managed to avoid them all. Even in April 2018, he faced the warmth of PM Narendra Modi due to the revolt of Dalits MP and Amit Shah also didn’t leave him alone in a separate meeting.
Not only this, but there were many occasions where he was the one that was forced to took the heat. In a situation like this, we have to see what the election of Lok Sabha has stored in for UP.
