BJP to lose in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, may provoke earlier Lok Sabha polls, Jaipal Reddy, Congress

S Jaipal Reddy, senior Congress leader exclaimed that it is possible that Lok Sabha polls will be held earlier than expected. This will occur because the possibility of losing in the major Indian location such as Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for BJP is high in the Assembly elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will do anything to remove the handicapped image from BJP.

BJP will suffer from a huge reverse in the major three states as per the assumptions by former Union Minister. The elections are to be held in the three states, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan later this year.

Reddy said, "The reason is simple. In Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, BJP is likely to lose heavily. After that, Modi will not be able to face the country,"

He added, "Therefore, he (Modi) does not want to take the responsibility for the defeat there (in the three states)", and later on added "after that, BJP as a losing party will be emphasised".

He even said that "In view of the bleak prospects for the BJP in the three states, Mr Modi may prefer to advance the polls so that he does not have to go with a handicapped image. It is likely," but raced to add, "Who can say for sure in politics?"

When asked about the opposition electoral strategy that is taken by BJP party for the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2019. Reddy simply shrug it off saying that the anti-BJP forces are trying to come together to grab a large number of votes and dismissing BJP from their services.

"They (anti-BJP forces) will surely come together after the polls. But they should come together before the polls because unity before the polls will get a larger number of seats,"

However, there are states, in which they couldn’t come up with an agreement – anti-BJP and Congress. In those places, they have formed a reach a unity policy after the polls are out in open. Nevertheless, there are only a few such states otherwise other have agreed with the union.

The Lok Sabha elections are said to be around May 2019 but no dates are yet released by the Election Commission. It is assumed that they will be doing so soon. But right now parties are ready for the upcoming Assembly election war that can give a brief idea about upcoming elections.
