Bhartiya Janta Party leader and former minister from Madhya Pradesh minister Devisingh Patel passed away of a heart attack this morning. The news came from state BJP executive member Om Soni. According to a PTI report, Devisingh Patel was going to contest from Rajpur seat in Barwani district in Madhya Pradesh in upcoming elections.
The assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are going to be held on November 28.

Devisingh Patel was 68 years old and had suffered another heart attack earlier this year. But last time he recovered from it. As per the statement of Soni, Devisingh Patel reported dome uneasiness and hence was taken to the hospital. In the hospital, he died during treatment.
Bhartiya Janta Party nominated Pate in its first list of candidates, THe list was released last week. Patel's name came in the list as he was one of senior most BJP leaders in Madhya Pradesh. He was nominated from a scheduled tribes seat.
In past, Devisingh Patel had hit a hattrick in winning elections. He won three consecutive Assembly elections, in 1998, 2003 and 2008. All these seats were run from Rajpur seat.
It is said that Patel's last rituals will be done at his native village in Bnadarkacch in Barwani.
