Former Prime Minister and BJP Patriarch, Atal Bihari Vajpayee dies at the age of 93

The most loves and highly respected person who managed to grab the seat of Prime Minister three times in his lifespan took his last breathe at 05:05 pm at AIIMS hospital in Delhi. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the first non-Congress politician that was appointed as the Prime Minister of the country. He was in the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) for the span of 9 weeks and now he is not between us anymore.

When the whole nation was celebrating Independence Day, one news from AIIMS halts everything in the nation. On Wednesday, a news came out showing the deteriorating health of former Prime Minister since last evening. The doctors did everything to their best to try to bring the former PM to live among us for a few more hours. But the prayers of thousands of people were left unheard when the news about his departure from this earth came up.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to the hospital twice in the last two hours. Even top politicians came to meet the respected politician since the news of his worsening health came in front of everyone.

Vajpayee was in the hospital since 11th June where he was admitted due to the chest congestion and kidney tract infection was not able to make it. He struggled a lot with life for 24 hours and he was put on the life support system but that was not enough.
PM Narendra Modi shared his grief on twitter with everyone.

“His passing away marks the end of an era. He lived for the nation and served it assiduously for decades. My thoughts are with his family, BJP Karyakartas and millions of admirers in this hour of sadness. Om Shanti.”

“It was due to the perseverance and struggles of Atal Ji that the BJP was built brick by brick. He travelled across the length and breadth of India to spread the BJP's message, which led to the BJP becoming a strong force in our national polity and in several states.”

Everyone in the nation is drowning in the grief of losing a leader and an end of an era.
