Google has finally given a rest to the controversy rounding off to the UIDAI that has been showing up randomly on the phone of the users. The results are yet to be seen in the dir infection by any of the authority in India but as per the software issues that are going on in Android. The controversies are now surrounding the decommissioned toll-free number as per spotted by the people in their phone.
They claimed that in 2014, Google tracked back many of the user’s phones. His was the time when the UIDAI number and the 112 distress helpline numbers were coded within the wizard of the inadvertently coded that falls within the setup. The devices were reminded about the Gadget 360 through the emails on Friday night.
As per Google spokesman, "Our internal review has revealed that in 2014, the then UIDAI helpline number and the 112 distress helpline number were inadvertently coded into the SetUp wizard of the Android release given to OEMs for use in India and has remained there since,"
He added about the 360 gadgets, "Since the numbers get listed on a user's contact list, these get transferred accordingly to the contacts on any new device. We are sorry for any concern that this might have caused and would like to assure everyone that this is not a situation of any unauthorised access to their Android devices. Users can manually delete the number from their devices."
The spokesman has confirmed the issue as it is set to fix in the release that will come out soon with additional features provided to OEMs over the next week or so. Even if you are confused about the iPhone users then the news will be in sync with the contacts with Gmail account that has already added list once the problem falls on android.
The authority behind Aadhar added, "UIDAI has reiterated that it has not asked or advised anyone including any telecom service providers or mobile manufacturers or Android to include 18003001947 or 1947 in the default list of public service numbers,”
