Neha Dhupia slammed an article that distastefully fatshamed her post-pregnancy weight

Women are impressed with the news that Neha Dhupia has been making recently with her Tweet that pointed out an article that was indulging in some shameless fat shaming. It was aimed at Dhupia, who has gained some weight after her pregnancy (Not all that absurd, is it?). She gave birth to a baby girl in November, last year and Tweeted about the ills of fat shaming, not only for celebs, but for everyone. This was in response to an article with a very antagonizing header that read “Neha Dhupia Shocking Weight Gain Post Pregnancy at Femina Stylista West 2019”. This is what she had to say, in response to that distasteful piece:

“I don’t owe anyone an explanation because fatshaming like this doesn’t bother me one bit. But I do want to address this as a larger problem because fatshaming needs to stop for EVERYONE not just celebs. As a new mom i want to be fit, healthy and energetic for my daughter. So I work out everyday, sometimes twice a day because for me...’Fitness’ is a priority and not ‘fitting into’ society’s standards regarding looks. And I hope in the future people are kinder to each other while making such vapid and vile comments. To quote @pattonoswalt... “Be Kind. It’s chaos out there.”
We saw Dhupia getting married to actor, Angad Bedi in May 2018 in a tasteful wedding. We also saw her in movies such as Qarib Qarib Singlle, Tumhari Sulu and Helicopter Eela recently. After giving birth to a baby child on 18th November at the Women’s Hospital in Khar, Mumbai, Neha has been actively seen as judge on the popular reality TV show, Roadies, Apart from that, she is involved with her own podcast. “No Filter Neha.
We loved how Sonam Kapoor also stood by Dhubua and posted on Twitter, “You are beautiful no matter what anyone says” in response to the fat shaming. Truer words have not been spoken, Sonam! Don’t let the cyber bullies bring you down, sisters! You’re all beautiful in your own skin, and bones.
