After the news of SP-BSP coalition came from neighbouring UP, Bihar politics, too, caught fire. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav called Nitish Kumar “Bhishma Pitamah” of Moral Corruption.
When the Mayawati and Akhilesh announced their coalition, Tejashwi claimed that their coalition will decide who will sit in centre, and BJP will get next to zero seats in upcoming elections. Things were prettt clear then of how Tejaswi is going to treat BJP’s allies.
Nitish Kumar left the grand coalition of RJD (Rashtriya Janta Dal), JDU (Janta Dal-United) and Congress last year claiming that RJD’s leaders have a corrupt past and Congress is not bold enough to acknowledge it.
Tejashwi commented on the same, saying, “No one in Indian politics matches the standards of Nitish Kumar Ji. He is not only politically, morally or socially scandalous, but ''Bhishma Pitamah'' of moral corruption. You will never find him accepting his blunders. He blames partners as well as opponents for his mistakes.”
Nitish Kumar was attending an event in Patna, organised by a private news channel. While answering the questions of media persons, Kumar said that he would have given a second thought before leaving “Mahagathbandhan” but Rahul Gandhi was not brave enough to utter a single word against Yadav’s corruption.
These remarks by Kumar ignited the politics and in Bihar and coerced Tejashwi to reply back,
This is not the first time when Tejashwi has attacked Nitish Kumar directly.
Nitish made newly joined Kishor Kumar as party vice-president, the same Kishor who was a political strategist of BJP in 2014 elections.
Taking jibe on the promotion of Kishor, Tejashwi had tweeted “Finally Nitish Kumar admits that JDU is the advanced version of BJP (and) therefore he is giving all important organisational posts except him(self) to the people chosen by Sh Amit Shah.
Hope now you understand why mob lynchings and state-sponsored crimes have become a routine practice in Bihar.”
