Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh says that rather than the controversy around MS Dhoni’s gloves Indian players will be focussed on the match when they will be against Australia in the important World Cup match on Sunday.
MS Dhoni wore gloves with Balidaan Insignia during India's match against South Africa however the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday turned down the Board of Control of Cricket in India's (BCCI) solicitation to permit the Indian wicketkeeper to keep on wearing the same gloves further on the tournament.
"Clearly players will be focussed, that is something news channels are displaying. I don't figure out any player on Sunday will think what MS is wearing his gloves or not. They have a major event before them. In the event that they win this one, at that point they will put out an explanation that they are in it to win this Cup," Harbhajan Singh disclosed to India Today in a meeting.
India won against South Africa by 6 wickets in their World Cup opening match in Southampton and will look forward to registering their second win against Australia at The Oval, London, June 9.
Harbhajan Singh said the two India and Australia are among the best groups at the World Cup 2019 yet kept India as top picks to win the conflict.
"Energizing game. Both the groups are topmost groups in the challenge. This will be a saltine of a game. I think India is somewhat ahead."
"I don't think there will be any adjustments in the playing XI. Climate is required to be fine. I don't think we need to make a ton of possibilities. We have the players who can adjust to any kind of circumstance. India will be great."
