Not so breaking news: Modi remembers Nehru again

Prime Minister Narendra Modi or more aptly BJP’s leader Narendra Modi remembered Jawahar Lal Nehru again in the campaign rally. Narendra Modi was addressing a rally in Chhattisgarh’s Ambikapur in the poll-bound state, where he took a dig at Congress by saying that he is challenging Congress that Congress should appoint a party president who is not from Gandhi Nehru family. He said that Congress should try a different party president for at least five years. The rally was conducted on Friday.

Modi said that the Congress should realise what it’s four generations have done to the country. He said, “Let some good leader of Congress outside of the family become the party president for five years, then I will say that former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru really created a truly democratic system there,”

Modi also said that Rahul Gandhi is the fourth generation of Nehru-Gandhi dynasty who is ruling in the politics.

Remembering his win in 2014 elections, he said that people are confirmed that it is not a right of a single family to stand and speak from Red Fort of Delhi.

The rally was held amid ongoing preparation of BJP for Chhattisgarh that is going to be held on 20th of November.
