Person arrested after being caught with live bullets in Kejriwal’s meeting.

A person was arrested on Monday as he was found with live bullets in public meeting of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.


According to a news report by The Hindustan Times, Delhi CM was holding a public meeting at his residence, and the person was caught with unused, live bullets. The incident happened on Yesterday.


The person arrested was later identified as a caretaker of a mosque. He is 39 years old, with name Mohammad Imran, caretaker of Bawli Wali Masjid in Delhi Karol Bagh. Mohammad came at a Public meeting, also known as Janta Darbar, with two dozen other Islamic clerics to sought hike in the pay of Delhi Waqf Board Staff.


The police that Mohammad found those bullets in the donation box of the mosque. He kept those bullets to throw them in the Yamuna and forget them in his wallet. The police found those bullets while checking the incomes on Janta Darbar.


Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Harendra Singh addressed to the media after this finding. He said, “ The 32 bore live cartridge was recovered from his purse during the search and frisking by the security staff of CM’s residence. He has claimed he found the bullet in a donation box two to three months ago and he intended to throw it in the Yamuna, but since he was yet to do it, he had kept it in his purse.”


Delhi police have registered a Fir against Mohammad under the Arms Act at the Civil Lines police station.


Just a week before this incident, a man attacked Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with Chilli Powder in the secretariat office. The Aam Admi party, including CM and deputy CM, blamed the Bhartiya Janta Party for this incident. The party said that it was a plan to murder Arvind Kejriwal.


A special session was called in the assembly where Kejriwal alleged on BJP that, “the string of attacks were planned by the BJP because they cannot see a common man like me as chief minister of Delhi”.


“If PM Narendra Modi cannot ensure the security of an elected CM, he should resign. Or else, people will think that PM Modi has attacked Delhi’s residents and he is taking revenge from the people of Delhi. I hold no grudges against 95% of Delhi Police personnel”.
