Phone-a-loan, the main trouble for UPA government become NDAs burden

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t leave any chance to degrade Congress government. He attacked Congress saying that they have left an economy with a landmine attached to it due to their indiscriminate leading. Not only this, but he also added, they send out loans to the businessman after just a single call from the Namdars (dynasty). Modi didn’t leave out a single stone unturned. He further commented on the phone-a-loan scam that has to be a major part on the economy. They added that the rich businessmen lead the money by banks for mounting non-performing assets or the NPA known as bad loans.

The biggest 12 defaulters for the bank were given loan by the previous government and not the BJP central government whose account is for over Rs 1.75 lakh crore. These all were commented by Modi during the launch of the payments banks of the Indian postal department.

PM Modi added that the country was created by the Congress government that has claimed to have the total amount of Rs 2-2.25 lakh crore though it was total of Rs 9 lakh crore. This was just the day after Rahul Gandhi Congress President attacks the central government for the NPAs jumping to the total of Rs 12.5 lakh crore under the current government rule form the Rs 2.5 lakh crore that was under the UPA government.

Modi added to this that BJP is in power since 2014 and it has noticed that the public sector banks had been plundered. The loans of the banks had jumped to the total of Rs 2 lakh crore from the year 2008-2014 from the total of Rs 18 lakh crore in the previous six decades.

He added, “In 2014, after our government was formed we realised that the Congress and namdaars had put India’s economy on a landmine,” Modi has even said that the government has tried noting but to defuse the landmine and the results was the 8.2 per cent of the total GDP that has growth clocked in the first quarter of the financial year. “This is proof of the fact that the country is moving in the right direction.”

The aim of the Indian Post payments banks is to take the banking services at the doorstep of every citizen by aiming the three lakh postmen and Grameen Dak Sewaks with the digital aids to deliver the financial services.
