RSS, the backbone of BJP Govt, is famous for its members of Big Mouth. But this is well known. What’s newsworthy is that now RSS members and patrons are opening their mouth to speak against Narendra Modi.
A Maharashtra government organisation member has demanded to RSS that they should replace Narendra Modi with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari if they want to win upcoming 2019 elections.
According to a report by The Indian Express, a person with name Kishore Tiwari said so about Narendra Modi.
Apart from being the head of the Maharashtra Govt. organisation, Tiwari is also a farmer's leader and the chairperson of Vasantrao Naik Sheti Swavalamban Mission. Tiwari brags a high stature in Maharashtrian politics.
According to a news report by IANS, Tiwari wrote a letter to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat about his demands. Hinting towards Modi, he wrote that recent results of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh came because of some “arrogant leaders”. He also wrote that Demonetisation, GST and increased fuel prices caused distress in the general public.
Tiwari wrote that Modi’s approach is a “dictatorial approach”. He said that Modi is not moderate enough to run a country. He also wrote that Nitin Gadkari is the perfect person for the post of Prime Minister.
According to IANS, “Leaders who pursue an extremist and dictatorial attitude in the party and government are dangerous for the society and the country. This has been witnessed before and if history is not to be repeated, hand over the reins to [Nitin] Gadkari for the 2019 polls.”
Ironically, the letter came out on the same day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Maharashtra for the inauguration ceremony of an Infrastructure and housing projects worth Rs 41,000 crore.
When Media asked RSS Cheif Mohan Bhagwat about the letter, he denied responding.
