Revamping Layout on Android for the WhatsApp

WhatsApp is the biggest Facebook-owned messaging application that is rolling out in its beta version with 2.18.246 on the Android for WhatsApp that is going to come out of the revamp and a new layout for the Report feature that will be available for groups as well as individual chats. Revamp with having many new additions, one such addition will go to be a new alert box that will appear when the prompt user will block the any of the contacts individually or simply exit the group chat including deletion of the message in any of the conversation. With the help of this feature, you will be able to retain a history of all your chart for these reports chats or groups that were not a part of WhatsApp in the previously.

WABetaInfo reported this new development and many people were able to verify it in their new beta version of WhatsApp. To get a brief idea about the latest feature, you can go to an individual or group chat that you want to report back. If you want to report an individual then click on the three dots to open up the menu and then select view contact. Then, you have to scroll down and search for the Report option then tap on it. Whereas in group chat, you have to click the three-dot menu that is present on the top right corner of the chat, then click on the view group info and tap report.

However, the point that falls in the eyes is by Gadgets 360, who spotted that users can only report a conversation of the individual that is received by the saved contact. However, the chats that are from an unknown number can only be blocked out and not reports. Anyone can check out on the latest addition by enrolling for the WhatsApp beta programme on Google Play or by simply sideloading the APK from the mirror APK.

This new feature is done by keeping flexibility for the user in mind. The users can choose to retain or delete the chat options for a user that can be reported on the platform now. However, it is still not a part of a stable build but it can be expected by a user to modify it a little and rolled it off easily.

Earlier, WhatsApp was spotting picture-in-picture feature for YouTube and Instagram that is to watch a video without switching off the application.
