BJP’s leader Sakshi Maharaj is famous for his big mouth. On last Friday, he has proved that he is rightly famous. Sakshi Maharaj called for the demolition of Jama Masjid. He claimed that Jama Masjid was construction on the site of a Hindu temple.
According to a report by NDTV, Sakshi Maharaj said, “The first statement I made in Mathura after entering politics was: let Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi be and demolish Delhi’s Jama Masjid. If you don’t find Hindu idols beneath its staircase, you are welcome to hang me.”
Sakshi was addressing a public rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao.
Sakshi Maharaj, who happens to be a member of parliament, said that the community is expecting Govt to pass an ordinance in order to build a Ram Temple. He said that the Temple should be built before next Lok Sabha elections.
He also hailed other political parties' leaders, including Congress Supremo Rahul Gandhi, Bahujan Samaj Party’s President Mayawati Devi and Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, to clear their stance on building the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
According to a report by The Indian Express, Sakshi also showed his “expertise” on Medieval Indian History. He said that during the reign of the Mughals, thousands of Hindu Temples were demolished to crush the spirit of the Hindus. People played with the honour of the Hindus. In the place of those temples, more than 3000 Mosques were built, he added.
Sakshi Maharaj, early in the October also had criticised the Supreme Court for adjourning the case to January and delaying the matter. Sakshi had said that When an ordinance can be brought upon matters like the Triple case, why can’t we bring an ordinance in the case of Building Ram temple. Sashi also said that the Ram Mandir should be built at earliest.
