In a row of many tweets, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tagged many opposition leaders, Bollywood stars and players. The reason behind the tagging was to spread the message. In an earlier Tweet, PM Modi called the general elections a festival of democracy. In that tweet, Modi urged voters to actively participate in the elections.
He wrote, “The festival of democracy, Elections are here.
I urge my fellow Indians to enrich the 2019 Lok Sabha elections with their active participation. I hope this election witnesses a historic turnout.
I particularly call upon first-time voters to vote in record numbers.”
Today, PM Modi picked the same topic and tagged some famous names. He urged them to send the message to people that they should participate in the democracy.
In the very first Tweet, he chose his rivals to tag. PM Modi tagged Rahul Gandhi, Mamta Bannerji, Mayawati Devi, Akhilesh Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, Sharad Pawar and MK Stalin.
After politicians, Modi tagged spiritual gurus – Sri Sri Ravishankar, Sadhguru and Swami Ramdev. He said that gurus inspire many lives, and now they should inspire those lives to participate in democracy.
The Prime Minister also urged to Businessmen like Tatas and Ambanis, sportspersons like P V Sindhu, Phogat Sisters, Kohli, Kumble, Bollywood Stars like Ranveer Singh, Vicky Koushal, Varun Dhawan and many more.
With a number of 900 million potential voters, the elections are surely a festival of democracy. Guess the Prime Minister did the right thing to reach all the leaders in various spaces.
