C.I.A. has just concluded that Saudi Prince Mohammad Bin Salman ordered the high profile murder of the dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi. But Trump praised Saudi Arabia as a “truly spectacular ally”.
Hard to sum up with the facts? Just keep reading.
US President Trump is waiting for a report on the US citizen and a journalist Mr Jamal Khasogi’s death. He said that he wants a report by his own administration only then can he assign blame on someone. Ironically, in a different statement, he undermined his own administration and the report which hasn’t been even reported yet.
He said, “Will anybody really knows?” He said this in an interview given to the Fox News. Isn’t Trump trying to implicate that even if Saudi Prince is said to be the culprit of the murder, Trump can’t blame him for it?
When Trump was asked about the tape of Mr Khashoggi’s death, he ignored the importance of it.
He commented on the quality of the tape. He said, “it’s a suffering tape, it’s a terrible tape.”
These instances clearly conclude that Trump is trying to save the Saudi Prince. But one can wonder why?
Trump was and is a businessman. And as the saying goes, once you are a businessman, you always are a businessman. Saudi Arabia has invested hundred of billion dollars in America. You read it right. Hundreds of Billions. Now, Trump has decided to stick with his “business partner". This can be wrong in terms of ethics, but nothing is wrong in business.
Saudi Arabian Prince denied his involvement in the murder to Trump on a phone call and, apparently, Trump believed in it.
Remember the first comment of Trump on Prince Of Saudi Arabia when the matter came into light, “we do have an ally and I want to stick with an ally that in many ways has been very good”?
And, Trump always talks about the jobs created by Saudi Arabia’s investment in $110 billion worth of American weapons.
Afterall, Saudi Arabia is mastercard of Donald Trump’s diplomatic strategy to isolate Iran.
