Monsoon Weather Update Delhi-NCR

 
Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted cloudburst in the sky as well as light rainfall in Delhi-NCR on Thursday. The maximum temperature of Delhi NCR is estimated to be around 34 degrees Celsius. On Thursday morning, the temperature of Delhi-NCR was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius. IMD said that on Wednesday, light rain was reported in parts of Delhi-NCR. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature in the city was one degree Celsius higher at 35.1 degree Celsius and the minimum was 27.4 degree Celsius. The level of concentration was recorded between 63 and 88 percent.
 
Earlier, the Director-General of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) K J Ramesh had earlier told that there is a possibility of good rains in the next two weeks and there has been an increase of 9% in its assessment of rain.
 
The new Director-General of IMD, Mrutyunjay Mohapatra had said that in July, 298.3 mm of rainfall was normal compared to 285.3 mm of normal estimation. Mohapatra said that in July, it was 105 percent of the long-term average (LPA) of five percent more than normal rainfall. IMD had estimated 95 percent rainfall. However, in Jharkhand, southern parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh's Seema region, Andaman and Nicobar islands, Himachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal received less rainfall than normal in July. Floods in many parts of Bihar, Assam, coastal Maharashtra In June, 87 percent of LPA was recorded.
 
This year, monsoon reached Kerala on June 8, one week late. His beginnings were slow and on July 19, he had reached the whole country with a delay of four days. India has the official rain of rains from June to September. Ramesh had said that there is a possibility of good rains in the next two months.
 
The silent monsoon is expected to be very active in the last few days in Uttar Pradesh and there is possibility of rain in many areas of the state in a day or two. According to the report of the Zonal Meteorological Centre, the monsoon will again get strength in the state from next one to two days and there is strong possibility of rains in most parts of UP.
