Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted cloudburst in the sky as well as light rainfall in Delhi-NCR on Thursday. The maximum temperature of Delhi NCR is estimated to be around 34 degrees Celsius. On Thursday morning, the temperature of Delhi-NCR was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius. IMD said that on Wednesday, light rain was reported in parts of Delhi-NCR. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature in the city was one degree Celsius higher at 35.1 degree Celsius and the minimum was 27.4 degree Celsius. The level of concentration was recorded between 63 and 88 percent.
Earlier, the Director-General of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) K J Ramesh had earlier told that there is a possibility of good rains in the next two weeks and there has been an increase of 9% in its assessment of rain.

However, in Jharkhand, southern parts of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh's Seema region, Andaman and Nicobar islands, Himachal Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal received less rainfall than normal in July.
