Kalank was a bad movie, that’s why it failed, says Varun Dhawan

In 2018 actor Varun Dhawan enjoyed a lot of praises and hit but in earlier 2019 soon with the release of movie Kalank the actor tasted a bad bitter taste of the failure. This has come as the only flop in the filmy carrier of Varun Dhawan. Karan Johar’s Kalank was not accepted well by the audience on the box office neither was appreciated by the critics.

The movie also stars Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt in the lead role and was of the most awaited movie of 2019, but the much-anticipated movie flopped at the box office and came out as a huge failure of the year.
In an interview given to the daily newspaper, He says “it was not accepted by the audience because it was a bad movie and this is the reason. Somewhere we all have failed in giving out the performances, however, he commented it is no right to blame the director and producer for the failure.
“Making Kalank was a team effort and being a part of the ream I too share the blame for its being a flop. The film did not go down well with the people. Failures are important for personal growth; I want failures to affect me because if it doesn’t then that means I do not love the work I am doing right now”. But for it you cannot blame director alone, everyone has to be blamed” he concluded.
But now the actor has pulled up his socks and gearing up for the release of his next two movies including a street dancer in 3-D and collie No.1. One out of it has complete dancing and required him to learn moves, on the other hand, other is the famous 1996 hit movie made by his father David Dhawan.
“Choices should be based on what I enjoy doing the most. If I don’t love what I am playing on the screen then it will not be able to come out of me” He explained
