India records highest one day spike of 8,392 COVID-19 infections taking tally to 1,90,500

Corona cases are increasing day by day which has become a biggest cause of concern for everyone. For two days in a row, India recorded more than 8,000 new cases. As lockdown 5.0 or Unlock 1 starts today where many recessions are given to the public and many market places and shops are reopening except for those in containment zone.

 

Amidst this corona virus cases are on daily hike and in last 24 hours India’s tally pushed to 1,90,355 cases. This rigorous growth in the graph of corona patients have made government rethink on its policies and to make stricter rules.

 

India is under lockdown since March 25 and now government has decided to unlock the country. On first day of Unlock 1.0, 8,392 new cases have been reported. There are 93,322 active corona cases while death toll stands at 5,394. Recovery rate of country on the other hand is 48.18%. On corona virus tally of India, Maharashtra is at top with 67,655 cases in total and most of the deaths in the state which tolls for 2,286 deaths.

 

Tamil Nadu stands at second place with 22,333 cases and 176 deaths while 12,757 recovered. Delhi is at third place of the tally with 19,844 cases in total and 473 deaths. Delhi is followed by Gujarat with 16,794 cases and 1,038 deaths till date.
